Telecom SudParis : CHOOSING EXCELLENCE

Our Ambitions

Telecom SudParis is a leading graduate school of engineering and part of Institut Telecom, the reference Institute for Information and Communication Technology in France.
While Telecom SudParis focuses primarily on Information and Communication Technology, it also provides a generalist and rigorous scientific training to prospective engineers and future managers.
Major international companies recruit our graduates both for their technical and professional skills as a well as their international exposure. At present, more than 30% of our students undertake more than one semester abroad. Our goal is to increase this figure to 50% within the next four years.
With the presence of a management school on the same campus, Telecom SudParis is a pioneer among Grandes Ecoles in combining scientific and management education in France. As a result, our students gain excellent skills in strategy, finance, marketing and human resources.
Telecom SudParis, already established as a leading French engineering School with a reputation for academic excellence, seeks to further enhance its international reputation. Our aim is to become one of the leading European training centres.

Achieving our Goals

Our programmes and teaching methods are designed to meet this objective. Telecom SudParis offers a multidisciplinary training programme in which team work is enriched by the diversity of experience provided by both students and teaching staff. Some 50 nationalities are represented on campus with 40% of students from abroad. We have forged partnerships included 12 dual degree programmes with 77 universities in 40 countries. A large number of specialised training programmes are taught in English.

Training Responsible Engineers

Telecom SudParis also defines itself as a School committed to sustainable development. Sustainable development principles are taught in order to train our graduates to include the environment and ethical considerations in their decision-making process.
Three of our students won 3rd prize in the "La recherche / ADEME 2006" (Ademe research) competition, with their submission of a scheme to reduce electronic waste.
