On 4th of June, the Minister of Economy, Industry and Employment, Christine Lagarde, presented the "Grand prix" of the Challenge Projets d'Entreprendre® to the Multeegaming project, a video game platform for PC on demand by downloading. This platform offers users a new way of approaching the video game: rental by hour, evening or month and the possibility to bet points on its own results. This project was supported by a dynamic team composed of students from Telecom Business School and Telecom SudParis. The project leader, Vincent Morel (photo) is a student of the school.
This contest for the creation of star-ups is organized for 10 years by the incubator of Telecom Business School and Telecom SudParis. It mobilizes over several weeks 400 students from the two schools divided into mixed teams engineers / managers. Each defends its project to a panel of professionals and teachers. 4 teams remain in contention for the final selection step at Bercy June 4. These 4 teams each receive a prize of 1500 €.
The team winning the "Grand prix", Multeegaming, leave for a one-week stay this summer in the incubator of Virginia Tech (USA)!

Jagadish Ghimire receives the Aoyagi Prize in recognition of his outstanding academic performance in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. Mr. Ghimire, a Nepali citizen, obtained his B.Eng. degree, major in Electronics and Communication from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2007. He was admitted to the AIT Master's program (joined with the Msc program of Telecom SudParis) in August 2007 and completed his M.Eng. degree with a thesis entitled 'Analysis of Supernode based Peer-to-Peer System for IP Telephony over Wireless Ad Hoc Networks.' Prior to joining AIT, he worked as a Teaching Faculty at Himalayan Whitehouse International College, Nepal. The Aoyagi Prize was established from funds provided in 1994 by Prof. Yukio Aoyagi, former AIT faculty member.
INTech, robotics club on campus, ranked second - and first club among Schools of engineering - in the finals of the French Cup of robotics held from 20 to 24 May 2009 at La Ferté-Bernard (France), thanks to his team "Tech the wave."
Thus qualified to contest the World Cup of robotics, "Tech the wave" has finished 5th tie the competition which saw 3 teams battle each of the twelve countries involved.
The other team "ArchINTech "ranked 110th of the French Cup.

The project comes at Telecom SudParis under the unit of value "Professional Skills Development".
The ARKAN team, consisting of Nicolas Gimel, Clement Riochet and Mathias Hummel, won the 3rd place in the final of the "HyperChallenge CARREFOUR" held on 26 March 2009.
Their team ranked for the final among 6 teams still in contention, among the 42 teams selected after the pre-selection phase.

Laurence Vancamberg graduate Telecom SudParis, was awarded the regional "Youth" award of the Society of Electricity and Electronic (SEE) on 19 January 2009 for his internship at "General Electric" compagny in medical imaging on "the monitoring of respiratory motion in fluoroscopic images X-ray interventional oncology". The distinction has been delivred into the presence of Alain Bravo, president of EDC, Christian Margaria, Director of Telecom & Management SudParis and Pierre Rolin, Director of Telecom SudParis. The ceremony took place on campus.
Laurence Vancamberg had also received the National Award "André Blanc Lapierre" of the SEE. It was submitted on 9 December 2008 at the College de France.
