Application

Eligibility

Candidates for the preparation of a PhD must hold a "Diplôme National de Master" (DNM) or a diploma conferring the degree of Master. By exemption, candidates who have carried out studies abroad in equivalent level, may be permitted to enroll in thesis.

Application

Applicants must first contact the future supervisor of the research department of his choice.

The PhD candidates will then prepare an application file consists of:

• a curriculum vitae,
• the diploma of higher level (or a certificate if the diploma is not issued),
• the evidence of his ability to research, unless he holds a DEA diploma or Research Master in french (for example: a copy of reports or scientific publications, a copy of his Master thesis memory, etc..),
• the statements of notes of his last period of study.

The department will receive the candidate to study the validity of his candidacy. The thesis director and the candidate agree on a thesis subject and validate together a "subject thesis form".

When the registration requirements are met, the Research and Doctoral Training Department proceed to registration.

Permission to PhD registration and exemptions will be given by the director of the graduate school, after consultation with the supervisor and approval by the Research and Doctoral Training Department.
