Research in Telecom SudParis is a part of the generic field of ICST. It is based on a faculty of more than 100 permanent professors/researchers.

Research in Telecom SudParis is part of the Research at Institut Mines-Telecom, with plural and coordinate skills, which aims to position it as a major player in European research and innovation in the field of ICST.

Almost all research projects rely on joint work with partners in the framework of a steadily increasing number of contracts, centered on innovation. At Telecom SudParis, the turnover generated by research contracts in 2010 (industry, European contracts, and local authorities, ANR) comes to 4,9 M€. Collaboration with industrialist, other laboratories and with research organizations are at the heart of Telecom SudParis research.
