The RS2M Department (Distributed Networks and Services, Architectures, Modeling, Validation, and Administration) at Telecom SudParis is a center of excellence dedicated to advanced computing and communication systems. The RS2M team consists of internationally renowned researchers who are at the forefront of innovation in next-generation networks, applied artificial intelligence, and secure distributed systems.
The department combines expertise in mathematics (optimization, graph theory, and game theory) with expertise in network engineering and signal processing. This interdisciplinary approach enables the department to address major technological challenges of the future, including 5G/6G networks, edge computing, wireless sensing for healthcare, and blockchain-based distributed systems.
RS2M stands out for its ability to turn advanced theoretical concepts into practical solutions, from optimizing telecommunications infrastructures and developing non-invasive medical monitoring systems to improving industrial processes with artificial intelligence. This scientific excellence is complemented by a strong focus on practical applications, with industrial collaborations in the telecommunications, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
The RS2M Department trains engineers, doctoral students, and researchers in mobile networks and services, in collaboration with key industry and academic research partners.
Members of the RS2M department are members of the SAMOVAR laboratory.
