AIUTE 2027: Noël Crespi Named General Chair of the Conference on AI and Urban Mobility

Professor Noël Crespi (Télécom SudParis, IMT, Institut Polytechnique de Paris) will serve as General Chair (General Chair) of the AIUTE 2027 international conference, to be held July 13–15, 2027, in Macau. This major scientific event will explore advances in artificial intelligence applied to transportation ecosystems and urban agglomerations.

International Scientific Leadership in AI and Smart Transportation

Professor Noël Crespi, a faculty member and researcher at Télécom SudParis, has been appointed General Chair of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Urban Agglomeration Transportation Ecosystem (AIUTE 2027).

The conference will be held from July 13 to 15, 2027, in Macau (China).

This appointment highlights the expertise and international influence of Télécom SudParis’s work at the intersection of:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data for traffic control;
  • The Internet of Things (IoT), vehicle-infrastructure collaboration, and digital twins;
  • Modeling and governance of sustainable urban transportation ecosystems.

Four Major Research Areas on the AIUTE 2027 Agenda

The conference serves as a high-level platform bringing together academics, researchers, and industry stakeholders around four strategic themes:

  • Key Industries and Intelligent Traffic Control: network planning, vehicle-road integration, big data analysis, and the digitization of transportation governance.
  • Smart Construction and Innovative Equipment: digital infrastructure design, connected construction sites, structural health monitoring, and lifecycle management via digital twins.
  • Smart Logistics and Supply Chain: multimodal transport optimization, smart storage, last-mile delivery, and risk forecasting.
  • Regional Impact and Sustainable Development: green and low-carbon transportation services, transportation-tourism synergies, and coordination between urban and rural areas.

All papers accepted and presented at the conference will be published in the official proceedings and submitted for indexing to the international scientific databases EI Compendex and Scopus.
