INNOV’NIGHT: a night for innovation and entrepreneurship

Organized from Thursday, April 16 to Friday, April 17, 2026 at Télécom Paris by the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, of which Télécom SudParis is a founding member, INNOV'NIGHT is a unique opportunity for students to imagine and develop an innovative project with the support of experts. The challenge will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and end at 9 a.m. on Friday.
For nearly 15 hours, students and doctoral candidates from IP Paris (École Polytechnique, ENSTA, École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, and Télécom SudParis), as well as those from certain partner institutions such as HEC Paris and Sciences Po Paris, will work together to transform an idea into an impactful project.
Supervised by mentors and innovation professionals, participants will be tasked with challenging their ideas, structuring their project, and building a compelling pitch during an intense and collaborative night.
They will be able to develop their projects around five major themes related to key technological and societal issues:
- Energy & ecological transition
- Security & Fintech
- Health & well-being
- Sustainable cities & mobility
- Industry 4.0 & digital transformation
At the end of the night, the teams will present their projects to a jury. The projects will be evaluated according to several criteria, including the clarity of the pitch, the realism of the project, and its impact.
The winning teams will each receive €2,000 to support the development of their project. Participants will also be able to continue their entrepreneurial adventure by applying to international programs such as EuroTeQaThon or Bootcamp EuroTeq.
A few words from Henri Ngo, a second-year engineering student at Télécom SudParis and winner of the first edition
“Thanks to this event, I worked on a project called ‘De la tête aux pieds’, a SaaS platform designed to connect manufacturing workshops with clothing brands.
I worked on this project with three people from ENSTA Paris whom I met that night. I continued working on it with other partners at further hackathons until the summer of 2023.
It’s an all-nighter where we do nothing but work on our start-up project. We’re fuelled by caffeine and have to stay focused and productive throughout the project. We pitch at 8am and 9am – it’s quite an intense experience.”
