Masters of Science

For international students, Telecom SudParis offers various graduate Master's of Science degrees with coursework and teaching being carried out in English  and in French . These research degrees give access to PhD studies within the institution or elsewhere worldwide. The programs aim at giving non-French nationals the opportunity for in-depth study of the European approach to IT.

The Master of Science is a postgraduate course leading to high level competencies recognized by the industry and in research centers. The degree is awarded after completion of three semesters of full-time study, the last one being concentrated on the completion of the master's thesis in a research or development lab.

Duration and Accreditation

Our MSc are 2-year full time programs divided on 4 semesters starting early in October. The fourth semester dedicated to a Master thesis must be done in an academic or corporate research lab.
All our programs, excepted "Automatic Data Processing" and "Virtual and Augmented Reality" are accredited by the "Conférence des Grandes des Ecoles".

Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master's program, an applicant MUST:

1. hold a Bachelor's degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent, in one of the academic subjects covered by Telecom SudParis, such as those normally providing the background necessary to follow the course of studies here (ex : Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics). Applicants with a degree in a subject not directly related to the course will be considered however if they have relevant work-experience in the field of the program they choose;
2. have undergraduate grades significantly above average;
3. produce evidence of proficiency in English in the form of an internationally-recognized standardized test score; scores of 5 IELTS, 540 at least TOEFL or 207 Computer TOEFL are accepted ; the requirement that a standardized test score be included in the applicant's file can be waived if the applicant submits a certificate confirming that his/her previous degree was earned at a university at which the sole medium of instruction was English.

Derogation rate: no derogation will be accepted.

Application procedure

The registration online for 2012 is now closed. 

Applicant who wishes to join one of our Master of Science programs must meet the academic and language requirements above to be selected.

There are three steps for the application procedure:

• Step1: you fill in the online registration form.
  NO REGISTRATION FEES REQUIRED

• Step2: your registration is confirmed.
  You receive an email with a login and a password for an access to the Student Portal. On this portal, you will find the list of documents requested for your application.

• Step3: you send your materials to Telecom SudParis.

Documents like certificates, diploma and grades must be translated into English or French. Copies must be stamped by a public notary.

Admission result and offer

The Admission Committee will convene every month.
Applicants will be informed about their selection within one month upon receipt of the complete application.

To accept the admission offer, you need to pay 2 500 Euros which is 75% of the program cost. Details will be given on the offer letter.

Tuition fees

Depending on where the applicant comes from, the MSc programs cost:

• 10 000 euros for international applicants
• 3 000 euros for European applicants
• 8 000 euros for students coming from partner university (please refer to the list of partners)

Scholarships

Applicants who wish to apply for a scholarship offered by their government may receive a provisional admission letter in order to start the procedure.

TSE Scholarship

Télécom SudParis may present the applications with the highest academic results for the Fondation Telecom's Excellence Scholarship. Only applicants who are admitted in one of our MSc programs can be presented.

We offer up to 4 scholarships per year.

EIFFEL Scholarship

If you apply for the EIFFEL scholarship, you must notify us when you submit your Master of Science application. Your application must be sent before the end of November 2011 to Telecom SudParis.

TThe registration online for 2013 session is open since 1st Octobe 2012.

• November 30th 2012: deadline for receipt of the applications for the EIFFEL Scholarship
• February 29th 2013: deadline for receipt of the applications for TSE Scholarship
• March 31st 2013: Admission application closed
• May 1st 2013: last date to accept the admission offer and pay 2500 euros
