Samovar PhD Day

On Thursday, May,25 2023 afternoon  at ETOILE Center, Telecom SudParis will welcome the PhD Students Day hosted by its own research laboratory SAMOVAR.

The aim of this event is to allow all PhD students, especially those starting their thesis, to present their research work through a poster and a short presentation (3mn). A contest for best poster will be launched on this occasion.

A few years ago, our 2019 Graduate Dr. Laetitia Jeancolas had received the Prize of Jury awarded by the Laboratory researchers for her presentation of work on early detection of Parkinson's disease using voice analysis and neuroimaging correlations.

Dr. Sebastian Tarando, 2018 Graduate and now Lead R&D Engineer AI at Mac Guff, also received the People's Choice Award for his application of automatic image processing applied to medical imaging, focusing on lung disease detection, from CT scan acquisitions.
